Environmental Policy
Our environmental policy statement lays down firm standards covering every aspect of Wright Contractors activities.
As a responsible employer and provider of services we will:
• Conform to, and where appropriate exceed, the requirements of all relevant legislation and regulations
• Establish work standards that will promote the use of environmentally friendly processes and materials
• Promote reduction in the consumption of all materials whilst encouraging reuse and recycling wherever possible
• Incorporate energy efficiency into products, services and facilities we utilise, and manage energy in all areas of our business
• Continually strive to prevent pollution and reduce the level of harmful emissions through our undertakings and minimise waste at all times
• Try to use business suppliers who minimise the impact of their activities on the environment, and work with the supplier to achieve that aim
• Promote environmental awareness, and responsibilities with all Wright Contractors employees and ensure those issues are included in training programmes throughout the company
• At all times be a good neighbour through open relationships with public authorities, the private sector and the community as a whole
Wright Contractors will strive to meet all the above aims and continually look for ways of improving their work methods/procedures to aid the environment we live and work in.
